Imagine your life without the one book, movie, or album that shaped your life. What would be different about you?

I can’t imagine my life without Pensieri, emozioni by Lucio Battisti (very hard to find in our days). It feels like the soundtrack to the person I became. I grew up with these songs in the background of my childhood, long before I understood what they meant. Somehow, they stayed with me and grew alongside me. Especially the track “E penso a te...", a very powerful one just explaining how he's thinking about his lover. I still remember me sitting in that big limousine, Lancia Thema in Sicily with my uncle listening to the cassette of this album.

Later, they became part of my love life too: the first feelings, the heartbreaks, the people I loved, the moments I couldn’t put into words. Every time I hear them, I feel like I’m meeting a different version of myself.

This album carries my memories, my tenderness, my mistakes, and the way I learned to love. Without it, I think some of my memories would feel different. Maybe even a little less alive. Sometimes i just listen to it again to remember some feelings, memories or even smells.
